A great way to make a difference and feel a sense of belonging

Meet our volunteers

We have a wonderful group of volunteers

Volunteers help us ad-hoc or regularly and sometimes just participate as part of the various activities and clubs that we run along the way. Here’s your chance to meet just some of our volunteers who all have a huge impact on the wellbeing of our members and keeping things running.

  • Sharon

Hi, I absolutely love volunteering for this group. I support a weekly book club for the members and its wonderful to see them growing in confidence with group reading, sharing ideas and exploring types of books that they might not normally choose for themselves.

  • Joan

My name is Joan. I love gardening and support KTJ Members in the Environment Group. My background is in education.

  • Lainey

Hello, my name is Lainey and I am an experienced beauty therapist. I have worked as a learning support assistant in FE and enjoy being able to support KTJ Members.

  • Pete

I support the Archery Club, and my name is Pete. I help to ensure that all our Members are kept safe during these popular archery sessions.

  • Helen

I'm Helen, and lead the Environment Group. I have been very involved in developing a safe gardening area for the Members. I spent many years in teaching.
