A Colourful Day Raising Funds at West Hill Park School

On Friday 22nd May, we were invited along to West Hill Park School for their annual Colour Run. This year they generously chose to support Key to Joy through this charity-focused event by collecting donations across the day in aid of our work.

The incredible team at West Hill Park School put on a fantastic event with a huge raffle full of generously donated prizes, food and drinks catering and the main event, the run itself.

Pupils, staff and families came together to race around the grounds for a day filled with fun, laughter and plenty of colour, even our Trustee Jenny got involved in the action!

The enthusiasm and generosity shown by everyone involved was truly inspiring. Events like this not only help raise vital funds but also help raise awareness of the work we do and the difference it makes to the people we support.

We are incredibly grateful to West Hill Park School for organising such a successful event, all while raising an amazing £1,789.53 to support Key to Joy!

The funds raised from this event will be used to help our team put together a bigger and better Christmas Ball to celebrate the end of another year with our members. Activities like this help us create new opportunities for our community of members and engage them in social activities that they may not have access to outside of key to Joy, unlocking new aspects of their lives by developing confidence and independence.

Thank you once again to everyone who took part, donated, volunteered or cheered from the side-lines. We hope you are as proud of this achievement as we are!
